Re: Botswana Elephant hunt

Quote:

Looked like an awesome hunt. Delta? Who were you hunting with?

I been there in 2003, so I knew the place and the PH. This area in known like Tamafupa Pans, just north Botswana in the border with Zimbabwe. Ph is Tim Frayne who hunts every year his 8 elephants licenses with very high note.

What kind of rifles and what calibers were you and your father using?

Since we traveled across 5 countries (Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and SA), we only took one rifle, our Remington 700 cal. .416 RM and we used, as always, monolitic solid remington bullets.
