You can feel it is going to happen watching the short video film. I think there is nothing wrong to filming elephant swimming in the river as long as a reasonable distance is maintained. But you just knew these idiot guides were going to cross in front of the swimming elephants!

Then to cap it all off, they rest their boats against the shore only 20 metres or less from where the elephants with young are getting out of the water. Some of the adults definitely are showing warning signals as they stop and stare at the humans. Because you already know what is going to happen you are surprised when they turn and climb the bank. Then of course it happens .....

It would be informative to know whom the tourist company is or was, but hopefully they are no longer in business.

The tourists though show the typical "plastic monkey" syndrome.
