Welcome to the forum! Congrats on your "traditional" safari plans, I'm sure you will enjoy it.
September isn't very far away: buy your 470 ASAP and practice, practice,practice. You should have at least 200+ rounds through the rifle before you go into the bush. Take lots of pictures (gun & safari) and share them with us. Best of luck.
