I remove all oil with a solvent spray and a clean, dry cloth. Then I wipe all moving parts down with a silicone cloth. I take the cloth with me on the hunt, and wipe down the rifle every evening. Upon returning home, the rifle is stripped down, then oiled for storage in the safe.
