Some pics of a safari in Burkina Faso

I have safaried, with my cousin Luc, in Burkina in 2003 and 2004 at Yentangou camp, the outfit of the famous Toufic.
My cousin Luc was there with Claude in 2006 also

As I promised here are some pictures taken by my friends Claude and Paul in Burkina Faso on the Namoungou area run by the famous Toufic.

Some upland shooting in the morning, Jean-Pierre and his wife Brigitte, Claude and the pointer Tango. The bag : francolins and red pigeons

A fine roan, a solitary which was following a herd of 40.
Note the poor quality of the pics, the photographer ignores that taking a pic close to the ground provides a better result.
A roan (koba in Burkinabe) is a biq as a horse. The French name is Horse antelope. The only bigger antelope is the eland.
The hunting team : the PH, the Ranger, the Water bearer and the driver

A coveted Buffon antelope : there are few in this area and Toufic is slightly avaricious Buffonwise. It’s a grand gift, being offered to shoot one.

A reedbuck, not the Bohor variety, that Claude was dreaming of getting.

A redbuff, medium size. The pic could be better

I am cooking their report, they have many anecdotes. But they lack some humour, they are Lutherians like Nitrox and ErikD
