A cartridgebelt ? Are You a masochist?

Even when upland hunting I am reluctant with using a cartridge belt.
In Africa, when the mercury hit 100°F (40°C) and the sun hit like a golden Cassius Clay, how do You feel when sweating like a pig especially around the waist because of a heavy, stiff and cumbersome cartridge belt. What good does it You after walking 5 hours?
My choice : a pouch.
