In 1999 a spanish hunter took this pretty elephant while hunting in the Selous. I was there same year, at the same time but in other area close to him.
I also shooted that elephant before, but it was late night and I missed a brain shot (but enough to get some blood). Next dayt I tracked it 'till the end of the concession

Next year I meet the hunter and saw the elephant in the SCI show in Las Vegas. The PH told me: "here is your elephant" and the hunter talked me about a high bloody shot on his head

Everytime I see this picture, I think he was mine and I'd loose my "once in a life time trophy".
