Witchcraft,superstition,black magic and the whole lot are prevalent in the sub-continent,so much so that there are people who advertise their ability to get things done through magic and unfortunately a lot of people believe them.Nevertheless it does exist although i have yet to experience it.I think even Jim Corbett mentioned it in one of his books.
