Picked up a copy of the new African Hunter book NYATI at the Dallas show. Monumental result of a monumental task and highly recommended. It makes one appreciate the relatively easy task of the sport hunter to hunt buffalo after the tireless work of others to preserve them. And a quote from Anthony Williams in the Foreword is enough to bring tears to a buffalo hunter's eyes: "Above all else, it is my hope that you will learn to love the African buffalo through greater understanding, and by doing so, will ultimately have contributed to its future." What else can one say? |
