It saddens me to say that when the indigenous African population gets to hunt, the game is quickly wiped out as they do not seem to understand moderation or conservation. The CAMPFIRE areas are a success, but there is still a lot of poaching going on, perhaps because the proceeds from the hunting are not spread about as evenly as they should be.
