Most plains game is on a target of opportunity basis, as long as the species that you want to take is available on quota. Exceptions would be roan, sable, nyala and eland, and perhaps a few others. Big ticket items like buffalo, lion, elephant, hippo, croc are generally on a reservation basis although if you hunt late in the year (Sept or later) there may be an extra left on quota that you could get for a bargain.
