South Africa B.E.E.

B.E.E. stands for Black Economic Empowerment, one of these trendy advertising company slogans to sell to the masses.

Basically I understand it involves taking businesses from white people in South Africa and giving it to black people. And that a select group probably not many more than a hundred politically connected blacks have been the recipitants.

Sound like a Mugabe land confiscation scheme to you? It does to me, take, steal, or acquire assets from "whitey" and give to "crony". Hopefully a son, daughter, cousin or nephew whom can kick back the income back to Dad or Uncle.

Mbeki, is this the reason why Mugabe is not up your nose?

It will not be long before any business connected with public property such as in National Parks or doing significant business with the government ends up in their hands or majority owned (stolen).

Then the stupid black in the street, finally seeing the corruption. demands his share, and the landowners "pay"
the bill for that one - so the peasant can hoe an acre or two and poach the buck in the hills.

Then they ask for food as they can no longer feed themselves as a country.

Fellows, do your hunting in SAf in the next ten years. I hope not but unless Robber Bob gets made an example with a bullet what will stop these other clowns?
