Explain the trophy fee...
As I understand it in Africa this fee goes to the Government? If your hunting on public land in Australia where does this fee go to? I can understand paying a farmer who's land your on or a aborigional community and support that. Should it go to the outfitter who has no legal claim on the animal. In the latest Guns and Game there is an add for a Kiwi outfit that has "off peak" hunts for Chamois and Thar for $250 per day. Main season winter hunts for $325 per day, with a modest trophy fee. Why no fee in the off peak? its the same animal. Where does the trophy fee go?
