I agree with you on some of the costs parts.

A local outfitter was being discussed by some local hunters and they thought he charged A$220 per day (he actually charges a lot more). They thought this was expensive!

Now $220 less GST is $200. Accomodation at the place costs $35 per person so that leaves $130. Say $30 for costs (low) leaves $100 a day.

Would any of these clowns work 15 hour days for $100 a day. No fucking way!

On another board I have read turkeys complaining about having to pay $25 for a printed hunting guide showing names of properties where sometimes hunting can be had for $50. Then they complained about having nowhere to hunt! Also they thought $50 should buy them cooked breakfasts at a Ritz, instead of a dusty outstation with a tin of baked beans (cooked by yourself of course).

I guess it is always cheaper to jump a back fence on the property, cut the head off quickly and run like hell in case someone has heard the shot. .................. Until oneday you loose your rifle, car and firearms licence for life.
