Hey Bakesey you are so right mate about being in the wrong business buddy.......going rate for a sambar hunt of about ten days in Vic (fair chase?) is around the ten grand US mark....shit i will take anyone hunting for half that for ten days considering my own last ten dayer cost me $220 for the air fare and another few hundred for fuel/tucker/and assorted expenses...of course i had a mate to supply a vehicle while there but i do have my own ......now who`s coming hunting? err real hunting i mean ?

Mike416 the world is full of those ego heads on walls and its a real shame in my mind,i have come in contact with men that are so fat (Aussies included) they cant tie their boot laces up without nearly having a heart attack yet they have the best ever examples of game heads that they "hunted" whereas the honest average hunter of medium income may only have the medium type (size wise) of trophy on his wall that are still to be deemed true hunted trophies.....this is not about killing animals with spears and knives to be a true hunter its a little bit about giving some respect back to the wild game that we treasure so much.
Breeding animals in pens simply to satisfy the whims of Pro clients dosent quite have the "fair chase free and wild" ring of truth about it for a lot of other hunters.
