I have shot quite a bit of game with the 9,3x74R.
For a Soft I think the 286 gr Woodleigh is a good choice. From beaver to buff, pigs, deer, black bear, kudu, impala to zebra it has performed perfectly.
The Nosler 286 Partition has done well too.

Add some 286 gr Woodleigh solids and any animal on the Planet is fair game.
