No. It sounds like it might be worth trying.
Ideally I would go for a 320 gr FMJ/SP for anything really big (if they work wel in my rifle and can be driven fast enough), ignore the 286 gr loadings and have something like a 230 to 250 gr for medium sized game. As long as I don't have to adjust the barrels too much.
