I surmise that the rifle is a 577, and I guess 4seventy does as well, since MS discussed this rifle in an earlier video.

MS used the Thys for quite a bit. It is in several videos and, when I saw it offered for sale, the blueing was well worn hwere one would expect from lots of carrying. Wood needed a refinish but was fine. Based on my experience, Thys' blueing hold up well but the wood finish doesn't like the heat.
