You'd have to have the right sights etc on it, but why not just go for a 12 gauge loaded with buckshot in one barrel and a solid slug in the other?....... you'd achieve the same thing but at a fraction of the cost........ but personally, I'll still stick with the firearm I have absolute faith in - my .500
