I hate those internet buffalo reference sites! I have personally killed american bison that tipped the scales in excess of 2200 lbs (the biggest was just over 2300) and I have seen larger bison than that. So just a bit of friendly advise to all, I would recommend taking the internet reference material with grain of salt. The ugly truth is all them thar bovines is big.
