That doesn't sound reasonable to me. I don't recall having met a PH that wouldn't let a wife/child shoot a few "lesser" animals like a warthog, impala etc without increasing the daily rates.

I would also like to add, that although it is not uncommen for an observer fee to be US$150, I personally think it would be more reasonable to be priced around US$100, especially in Namibia where logistics are quite easy.
