Although I have only shot a few with the 9.3x62,416Rem, 458Win and 470NE, I feel that they all worked well on Cape Buffalo. I do however think the best Cape Buffalo Rifle (for the first shot by client) is ether a 40Cal such as the 404Jefforys or 450/400. Fitted with a low powered detachable scope.
A Professional hunters Rifle will not be as good for the first shot but is best for what it is designed for, which is defence and recovery.
