For Cape Buffalo, .375 H&H is usually the minimum allowed by law in most countries, some state a minimum calibre and some a ballistic minimum but it boils down to the same thing...... I tend to advise the client brings as large a calibre as he can shoot confidently and competently.... for most people this is in the 375/404/416 range. They'll all do the job well if the hunter does his job well.

I've never hunted Aussie game, but would LOVE to do so! - it's really a case of when time allows.......
