I think Corbett did hunt a bit in Kenya. He moved there after Indian Independance. I doubt he was ever a PH though. Read Treetops, his last book. My friend, Bob Langenveld, grew up on the farm next to where Corbett lived. Unfortunately he never knew who he was when he lived there, only later. To Bob he was just ' the old man down the road'. His father was given autographed copies of all of Corbetts books however and Bob now has them.
