Get the Swarovski's. There is no better scope. I do not like Leopolds, as i always have trouble focusing them correctly. i own 5 swarovski scopes, and 2 binos, of which one is the 2.5-10x42 model you mentioned (without illuminating reticle). IMO it is the most verisetile scope money can buy.
