Does anyone have any experience with the old Colt Sauer rifles? I'm contemplating buying one for an upcoming SA hunt in late '06. The rifles are real beauties but they're now 25-30 years old and of course much change and improvements have been made in the last 30 odd years. I was thinking about a 300 Weatherby Mag. or 7mm Rem Mag. for plains game. Should I take a chance or perhaps go with one of the newer Sauer rifles? Any thoughts on this short lived beauty from Colt & Sauer?
