With the Zeiss coming in at 2100 for the 2.5-10X42 illuminated I would rather get the identical Swarovski for 1800. Why is the Zeiss more? I would have thought it would less. I have heard of problems with Zeiss scopes. I haven't heard of a single problem with Swaro's.
