I had the similar experiense last year in RSA that the Zebras were very hard to hunt opposite from what most people think. When I said at home that I might take a Zebra my hunting buddies said that I could as well go and shot a horse.

When I had two days left of the hunt I decided to take either a Oryx, Blue Wildebeest or a Zebra, just to have as much open as possible. The Kudu was already taken. We stalked Zebras a couple of times but never get an opputunity to shot. So next time I go for one. About sitting and waiting I also did that with my warthog for about 30 minutes and that was many thaughts going through the head then.
