Re: China, Africa's 21st Century Colonialist

absolutely right,

quote :"The Central African Republic, for instance, is penniless after years of civil war. International donors, such as the IMF or the World Bank, are understandably hesitant. But not Beijing. Nor is its input restricted to finance. Its firms are prospecting for oil and designing "
In Bangui the Chineses have built a new football stadium... sort of symbol and a good advertising. Around Bangui everywhere are Banana plantations..gift from China.

The worst is to come : WOOD

The Chineses are obtaining markets for forest working. Where (CAR CAMEROON CONGO GABON IVORY C GHANA BENIN NIGERIA GUINEAS ... They don't give any attention about Ecology certification and sustainable dev.. They bring what the local leaders need : currency at any price. What will be the African forest's future??????????? Like the rest...devasted.

The result is that : NOW CHINA HAS AN ALMOST MONOPOLY OF AFRICAN FOREST WORKING. In the future, we'll have to buy the Chineses the wood we need..
What about Chineses and Asian Forest (Teak?????????)
