JPK, you completely contradict yourself here. Energy means Jack-, and penetration is everything. Well DUHH! The big argument for 45-70 level gun fans is the great penetration of the special P+ rounds. So if the gun has penetration and FPE whats the beef? Your argument has no direction and makes no sense what so ever.

So I guess I support stunt hunting, because I plan on taking my Marlin 1895 on Safari chambered in the 457 Alaskan with 4000FPE, great penetration and five shots. Dead is dead, who cares how you kill it, its the hunt that matters.
