I was looking for a buff hunt over the last few months and decided on TZ.

The trophy fees are quite reasonable... roughly 1500 per buff as you get 2 on a 10 day license. You also get quite a few PG animals on license. They have very good trophies coming out of there every year. I booked with Safari Trackers in Lokisale in November. Their average for last year was 40", including those shot for bait and on 7 day safaris. Also I have never been to East Africa and have always wanted to. I know what you mean about finding an honest outfitter. I think if you do your homework and go with an established outfitter the odds of things going bad are pretty slim. I find the Hunting Report to be an invaluable resource.
