"quick release scope mounts on a Dangerous Game Rifle? "

The q`s in my mind is the scope itself necessary considering that of all the dangerous game ever nailed a huge percentage was/is taken without one!

I have never been near dangerous game but i think its either a low power 1.5 x 6 Swarofski( or similar) or nothing on top for me.I cut my teeth on open sights and only use scopes now but would be happy either way.
Though i would love EAW qd`s on my mountain rifles
