Great news

. Received yesterday a copy of a video sent to me by the producer, Steve Scott of the "Safari Hunter's Journal" of his televised bow hunt of a cape buffalo at Nemba in Zimbabwe. Nemba is the property owned by Pierre van Wyk and was the same property I hunted at last year. Steve hunted there several months earlier.

Watched it tonight and it certainly brought back memories. Pierre, always the professional, the thorny scrub and the duga bulls at close range.

Steve goes one more and hunts his old duga bull with a compound bow and broadhead arrow. The bull is hit behind the shoulder in the lungs and flees and due to failing light is found dead the next morning.

Good also to see the excellent Nemba trackers in action again. They are a good bunch of fellows.
