Very nice. Thanks for posting. It seems that the 458 Winchester has had a number of admirers and also people who thought it came up short. Mr Lott was part of the latter group.

Perhaps because of new powders and better bullets, the 458 Winchester seems to be a well regarded big game cartridge.
