It took me about 14 hours to get my first one. Wehad dinner in camp about seven in the evening and thereafter we left for Zimbawe. Andrew that we were suppoused to meet at the pub had a lot to do there so first at 12 I managed to lift him and Jasper out to the bakkies so that we could leave for the border. After three hours hard work at the border and 40 km on dirtroad we finally could jump in bed. We went up about 7.30 in the morning and had fresh orange juice from the farm. At nine we left with the bakkie and after 10 minutes there was a Warthog sleeping along the road and before the camcorder was ready the pig had left. We thought he would not go to far so we did follow him in the bush and there was my Bushpig sleeping broadside to me. Jasper told me to shoot and so I did. He ran 40 meters for a heart/lung shot and thats it, Who said hard work did not pay of.....
