I once shot an elephant cow in the middle of a herd. It was not a nice thing, the herd was very excited, the cows protected their calves while another part of the herd tried to raise the dead cow back up. Ultimately the matriarch attacked us and we was near to kill it too.

The shooting of the cow was made on behalf of Zimbabwe government authorities. I would not spent money for something like that.
