Re: Travel insurance for Zimbabwe unavailable

I think hunting wasn't covered when I went as well?

Is it ever covered on Australian policies? An outfitter might be able to help on what companies and policies are good. They may be more expensive.

The SSAA used to offer a decent policy. Or the insurance company which actually provided the insurance. Prior 2020 I had an annual policy which covered say up to 35 day trips both domestically and internationally. If the policy covers your firearms, it may cover hunting, at least not an exclusion. I reckon it wasn't excluded. Sorry I forget the company names.

Phone SSAA insurance.

Maybe if buying a normal policy see if a remote medical evacuation policy can be purchased. Getting on planes to decent medical care is a huge expensive if not otherwise covered.
