I think Barry is the guy shooting the double rifle.

Mihai Ionut-Daniel for me simply put if you cannot stop a charge with the weapon you are hunting an animal with then it’s the wrong weapon to start with and this video proves it .

I hunted several ele with clients with bow and ended up shooting them all in defense . It is not fair on the animal and in hindsight I wish I had never done it . We learn from our mistakes -dangerous game should not be hunted with bow.

Buzz Charlton yes Buzz I've seen a private video of one of these ele attacks you mention. On a friend's phone, don't worry not broadcast on the net.Shocking to see the guy being pushed along under the elephant bull's forehead during the charge. Yes your shots killed it.

I see no one has mentioned when the guys moved to the right, the lion kept running in a straight line. Appears he would have ran past? Third shot into the flank of the lion. Almost to the side.

Is it another canned lion? Where the lion lacks true wild instincts? A lion charge where the lion is going to run past? Yes canned IMO.

Not an impressive video by any criteria. Being used as a marketing gimmick.

Just watched the video to the end. What a total wank. Ending with an edited version, slow motion. Showing only the shot that hit. And not the wounded lion flailing around. And to cap it off, the crossbow and bolt leaning on the lion, so the client can claim he shot the lion with it?!

How many people were in on this lion hunt? The cast of thousands always seem to be on canned hunts? 2x cameramen. At least 2x rifle shooters. Plus the crossbow client.

Plus the additional footage of the lion chewing on a stick, looks like a very much canned lion.
