Re: Back from RSA - photos

Dear Bob,

These are no kind words, it's my sincere opinion.
Sorry I couldn't resist pulling your leg. At these moments You don't smile, It's your own mode of expression period.
I have some pics too where I don't smile at all. Why? I don't know : respect for the prey, for the death, tiredness. The best animal I shot makes me not smiling at all, I was still in action, very concerned. All around me the trackers, bearers and guide were jumping with joy and I was tensed. Always in the action. Only 2 hours later, I succumbed to joy.
In fact maybe it's better not smiling;

I insist your kudu makes me want to get one.

Let me explain You why.
My father in law hunted in Namibia twice and got fairly good bags. Now the saint man is hunting for ever in heaven and his trophies are decorating my walls???? it is my wife's desire. Seeing them every day they are deterring me from getting my own impala, gemsbok, kudu and hartbeest. By the way they prevent me from hanging my trophies .......but I forgive him, sure he was a really good man.
And now seeing your fine trophies and especially your splendid kudu, makes me desire such animals.
Congratulations again.

Speaking of drought, I am no specialist but I think they can resist quite well, can they? Especially the oryx.
