That hat, good brim, but maybe too hot for Africa? I have a wool hat for winter, a gauchos hat from Peru. Large brimmed butway to sweaty for summer. I wear it to keep my neck dry and my scalp warm.

A rabbits skin Akubra for summer. Much cooler than wool based. Mine is the Coober Pedy. Still a little hot and sweaty at times but the shade is worth it.

Forget the stupid ball caps.
