Green, olive or karki shorts fine. Those white,cwhitish very light coloured "traditional" African/East African clothes or "outfit" ... Only for newbies and wannabes.

I doubt the old guys back in 1890 to the 1930s actually wore such light colours on safari. Stand out against the Blackmore dark coloured tree trunks and bush. In the green months shine like a light bulb.

PS one has to laugh about a guy talking about dressing in an "outfit".
