There are restrictions in some areas, as to bow weight (150 pounds) and minimum arrow weight of 1,000gr., I have heard (in early 2000's).
I don't know for sure, just what was relayed to us in Moose camp by a Texan who said he was having Black Widow make him up a set of
150 pound limbs for his recurve.
He was a big fella, named "Buf". Said his father named him in the Hospital when he was born - Big Ugly F---er.
