WIth the going rates of 99s it that caliber around here you got quite the bargain! Does yours have therotary magazine or clip? Is it teh thumb safety or is the safety on the lever? no matter which you have.......it is an outstanding gun in one of it's absoluet best calibers. Congrats

I own (3) savage 99s. (2) are 99-EGs in 300 savage caliber and (1) is a 99F in 308. Only my9 9F is scoped. They are very accurate and a joy to carry afield. I have a yearning to own a 358 and a 250-3000. But both of those calibers are highly sought after & tend to be $$$$$$.
