he bullet hits the buffalo on the nose, a small puff of dust, and probably travels through the brain. But exits behind the buffalo's head, or neck, a larger puff of dust. The bullet exits into the background. Probably a FMJ. It looks like it is higher than the buffalo immediately behind, perhaps. But LOTS of buffalo in the background. Running after the shot. Would be pretty amazing if it did not hit another buffalo. Very poor "selective" shooting. The sort of shot one doesn't take and not just today, but a hundred years ago as well. |
