He also says he would not hunt for a trophy. But hunt for meat.
So if others readily utilise the meat from a trophy, why the ffff is it different?
Agreed..why is it different??
Personally I am tired of that old worn out argument..nothing more than a self serving statement in my opinion...
" I only hunt for meat "
" I only hunt to help conservation, getting rid of ferals. "
" I only hunt to help the farmer. "
Bullshit!
Hypocritical jerk offs. Even worse in some hunting clubs, they get onto committees, don't like the word "hunting", and replace it everywhere with "conservation".
As for 'hunting for meat', often if you add up the cost of guns, ammo, licences, fuel, etc etc the cost of a kg of duck, venison or whatever far exceeds its price at the butcher. Not always. But I spend $1000 plus on diesel alone to bring back an engel freezer of buffalo meat back from the NT ...
Maybe shooting a great big elk, down the road from where one lives works out differently.
As for hunting, it is
natural,
normal,
enjoyable,
and I enjoy even the kill. 100%.
I saw a poster last week that stated.."Teach you child to hunt and fish so they will never have money for drugs"..
Reasonably accurate..
