Re: Botswanas-impending-wildlife-disaster

RIPP

Thanks for posting. Interesting to read. Haven't been back to Botswana since 1988. Spent time travelling down the Eastern hoghway, and in the middle of the Okavango Delta. Then re-entered Zimbabwe via the SW of Zim via Francistown (?).

Very sad how the lefties, greenies and blackies can ffffup every African country in turn.

Of course the removal of wildlife also allows cattle to take over wildlife areas if the Tetse flies can be eradicated or reduced.

140,000 plus elephant in a dry country, but with some tropical regions and of course the delta ... estimated to reliably carry 55,000 elephant only. That means two out of three need to be culled. No way could the ignorant greenies around the world cope with that. Would be a total uproar. With celebrities frothing out of their mouths while drinking their lattees and eating their vegan food in between sushi sessions ...

Imagine how much elephant meat that would create! Would feed a starving African country for a year ...

Very sad how a country with a great wildlife resource is being destroyed.

After 140,000 plus elephant have existed for long enough, the country won't support sustainable viable ele herds of even 10,000 anymore. With the loss of trees and habitat.
