He was one of my heroes growing up after I found a copy of use enough gun in my fathers book collection at the age of eleven. I started with looking at the photos and read the whole book that year. Many of the quotes attributed to Selby in that book I still use to this day. I for one am saddened to here of his passing and grateful for the influence he had on my life mainly through the writings of Robert Ruark.
