I would say that a Buffalo and roan hunt in northern Cameroon is cheaper then a buff/sable hunt in Mozambique.

Trophy fees are reasonable and you can negotiate a good deal as long as you don't use up the outfitters quota for Lord Derby or Giant Topi.

The self guided is interesting, I do speak French (well Quebecouis) but it seems to me you end up in areas that are heavily poached and your success would be pretty low. I may do it one day but for now my time is to valuable to experiment.

Imagine a self guided, doubles only trip ......
