I specifically added baboon to my list last year in Zim, I think the skull makes a great mount, particularly in comparison to a leopard skull (fangs often are longer). I shot a big male out of the top of a tree and after it fell out and we were going up to get it the group really had a fit howling and sounding very agressive. Then several of the bigger ones actually charged at us pulling up at a fairly short distance before backing off even my PH was concerned and told me to be ready to shoot, there was no question they were trying to drive us off. The group finally backed off and we collected my baboon
but they certainly got our attention and proved to be more interesting than knocking down most plains game.
