Funny seeing the fires.

When I first visited in Africa in 1988. I flew from Zimbabwe to London. And while over the Congo/Cameroon area looking down from the night sky, could see a massive line of fire on the dark Earth below. Now think how big that fire had to be seen, to be seen from a jetliner high in the sky above.

It was the same here last summer..when I flew from Bozeman, Montana to Seattle, Washington..huge fires in Idaho..could see them from the air..incredible...

Surprised no one has noticed/mentioned the lion???

Now you mention it Ripp, I do see the lion. Had not noticed it before. Almost in the middle of the pic. You can see how well they blend in and how easy it would be not to see them.

THAT is it...she crossed the road in front of us while heading out for the evening hunt..and yes, agree, amazing how they blend in..and she wasn't even wearing Sitka camouflage clothing..
